In an effort to secure and protect information, users
wishing to view LPPS's private intranet/extranet will
have to provide valid credentials in the form of a
username and password. Each employee has been issued a
unique Novell username and password.
Logging In
To log into the Extranet the username will be the Novell
username with "@lpsb.org" added to the end.
Example:
username@lpsb.org.
The password is the exact password used to log in to
Novell.
****The most common error is not adding
@lpsb.org to your username***
If
you have a problem logging in you will need to reset your
password.
To Reset your Password From Web Mail
- Click on the "Staff" page
- Click on "Check Email"
- Log in as normal
- Click on "Options" in the upper right hand
corner
- Click on the "Password" tab
- Enter your old password and then enter your new
password and confirm your new password.
You can reset your password to
what you are using now by putting the same password
in as the old and again as the new.
- Click "Save"
- After that you should be able to log into
the extranet.
To Reset your Password From the GroupWise Client on your computer at work
- Open GroupWise and Click on "Tools" from the
toolbar at the top.
- Click on "Options"
- Click on "Security"
- Enter your old password and then enter your new
password and confirm your new password.***
You can reset your password to
what you are using now by putting the same password
in as the old and again as the new.
- After that you should be able to log into
the extranet.*** If
after entering your old password... the new
password area is grayed out, click on the "Proxy Access"
tab and then click back on the "Password" tab. The new
password area should not be grayed out any longer .
If after resetting your password
you still can not log in email the
helpdesk your username and password
and school. Be sure you are adding @lpsb.org to
your username!
