We're Raising the Bar on Student Nutrition
Livingston Parish Public Schools participates in the National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs. Our menus offer a variety of fruit, vegetables, whole grains, low fat or reduced fat entrées, and low fat or fat free milk choices.
Our menus are designed to meet the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulations. Please check the menu section of our website for the latest menu.
We are proud to say our schools still serve school-made bread and prepare most of our entrees from scratch.
We see breakfast as an investment in our students' education. Studies have proven that students who eat breakfast everyday improve academic performance and increase ability to focus and concentrate on schoolwork. For the 2017-2018 school year, we are proud to introduce Breakfast on the Go at over 20 of our schools.
