The Veterans Memorial Plaza is for the edification and education of students of Livingston Parish Schools; to memorialize the commitment and sacrifice by Veterans through their military service: and to insure that future generations understand, appreciate and remember the price paid by Veterans to preserve democracy and freedom. The Veterans Memorial Plaza Committee and the Livingston Parish School Board have a common goal and desire to join together to establish, construct and operate a memorial to all of our Veterans.
