Registration is now open for Summer Training
Please read the following instructions to ensure that you register for
classes for which you qualify. We will be offering three different types of training.
1. Application training that anyone can attend (teachers, aides, secretaries,
etc.)
- Beginning Internet
- Intro to Computers
- GroupWise
- Power Point 1
- Power Point 2
- Access
- Excel 1
- Excel 2
- Word 1
- Word 2

2. For classroom teachers only:
- K-5 INTECH (Grade K- 5 Teachers Renovation Schools Only)
- 6-12 INTECH Revisited (Middle School Teachers Only)
- First Tech (LATAAP Teachers only)
- High Tech (Renovation schools receive preferred enrollment)
- Kidspiration
- Inspiration
- Orchard (Renovation Schools Only)
- School Newsletters
- Web Design
- Marco Polo
- GPS in Social Studies (5th-12th grade teachers only)
- Photo Editing with Adobe Photoshop
- Video Editing with Adobe Pro

remember that signing up for a class is a commitment that you should take
seriously!
If you sign up for a training and do not attend then you have prevented another
person from attending.
This Fall Livingston Parish School Board will be offering graduate level
classes through Southeastern Louisianan University . The classes we will be
offering are:
- MTED 616 Topics in Data Analysis and Probability for Teacher,
Grades 1-8 Tuesday Nights from 4pm-7pm. This class will be taught by
Dr. Blount at Walker High School.
- ETEC 575 For Elementary Counselors on Monday
Nights (no Teacher Tuition Exemption for this class) 4pm-7pm at the LPSB
Central Office Training Lab.
- ETEC 575 Social Studies INTECH for Middle School Teachers
on Tuesday Nights from 4pm-7pm at the LPSB Central Office
Training Lab..
- ETEC 610 Integrating Technology for K-5 Teachers
Thursday Nights from 4pm-7pm. This class will be taught by Dr. Ennis
at the LPSB Central Office Training Lab.
