(To open a second Netscape window, so you can try out these instructions, 
Click File, New, Navigator Window. Switch between the two windows by clicking on their buttons on the Task Bar)

Type mail.lpsb.org in the location bar 

                               or 

click on "Check E-mail" at the Livingston Parish Home Page.

 
Try your account and see if it works. 
Name: 
         firstname lastname 
Password: 
         fl1234 
              (this will be your initials and last 4 digits of your social security number) 
Then Click Log On 
If it does not work contact the Help Desk .Be sure and try to log on several times before you call.Your e-mail address is:  firstname.lastname@lpsb.org 
Once you Log on your screen will look like this: 

Read E-mail: Double click on the subject of a message to read it.  

To Reply: Click the Reply to Sender button  

Type in the message field, Click Send 

 Send New Mail 
Click the Compose Message Button 

Type the e-mail address. 
Type a subject. 
Type a message 

Click send
