Peer Training

On November 7th and 8th, LPPS Safe and Drug-Free Schools and Communities sponsored Peer Training for Middle and High School Students. The goal was to empower students to take an active role in making positive choices that lead to a life free of alcohol, tobacco and drugs. These student leaders discovered many ways to positively influence their peers as they face the many challenges of living a safe and drug free life. Rick Minnifield, a nationally recognized speaker from California was the facilitator for a day of fun and learning.
