Albany Middle School Faculty & Staff pose with
their own children who also attend the middle
school. With this many faculty children, the faculty
could start their own school!

2) Albany Middle School 4-H'ers pose with some of
the King Cakes and care
packages they made in the school cafeteria.
Approximately 10 students and
10 parents stayed after school with 4-H sponsor
Connie Ryals on January 26,
2010, to prepare care packages for Operation
Overseas Mardi Gras. The care
packages included the King Cakes, beads, cards, and
Louisiana foods and spices.
The Soldiers' Angels organization distributed the
packages to the deployed
units from Louisiana -- 204th TAOG, 204th MP
Company, 108 3rd
Transportation Company, 546th Maintenance Company,
488th Quarter Master Platoon
and various individual/teams deloyed from Barksdale
Air Force Base, Belle Chase
Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Fort Polk Army
Base, Louisiana Air & Army
National Guard and Naval Support Activity New
Orleans.

3) Albany Middle and Albany High students pose
for a group picture after
their performance in the Talented Arts Programs'
Annie Jr. The performances
ran for three days, January 26-28, 2010, at Suma
Hills Community Center in
Satsuma, under the direction of Melani Glascock, Tim
Richardson and Sherry Martin.
