school year remediation.
- One person at each school will be responsible for
entering data.
- The username and ID will be assigned by Mr. Harris
and is referred to as the query number. Will begin with the letter Q.
- User ID's and Passwords change every August. Try to
log into the site well in advance of the deadline so that any problems can
be addressed.
- You may begin adding information to the database at
any time. We encourage you to not wait until the day before the deadline
to do so. You can begin to add tutor information and also add and delete
students from the database.

| Information About Entering
Data: |
- Avoid using the Browser Back button. Use the
Back to Select User button.
- The database will not have all eligible users as it
is based on those students who participated in LEAP testing last spring.
- Remember to SELECT ALL and save the database before
adding or deleting students.
- It is easier to drop than add a student.
- Save Often.
- State ID refers to the students social security
number.
- Do not remove those students who are eligible but
do not attend remediation.
- Eligible students are those who scored below 35%
composite, or scored Approaching Basic, or Unsatisfactory on last year's
LEAP. Also those who are repeating 4th or 8th grade due to failing LEAP
test, and those who you determined in need of this program.
- Students from out of state or those with no
Louisiana test history cannot be added to the database.
- If your school has both 4th and 8th grade and each
grade was offered a different number of hours of remediation, use the
higher number when entering the number of hours offered per subject.
- Only two tutors can be selected. Use the persons
who were responsible for the majority of the project.
- Print several copies for your records.
- Do not submit data in Step 6 until you are positive
it is correct. After this time, data cannot be retrieved by you, the
district, or the state.
