Ready, Set, Going to College

Ready, Set, Going to College is a five week college prep course to assist students with overcoming entrance barriers to college.
 
The program will include information on:
  • ACT Preparation
  • Financial Aid, FAFS
  • College Admission Requirements
  • Goal Setting
  • Time/priority Management
    •
  • Accountability
  • Study Skills
  • Staying Motivated
    •

This program, presented by the Livingston Parish Adult Education Program in conjunction with Southeastern, will be held at the Literacy and Technology Center.
 

The course will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on the following Mondays and Thursdays: Late Registration Feb 19.
Classes Feb.26, March 2, 5, 9,12, and 16.
 
Enrollment is open to all students interested in college.
 
Priority will be given to adults who already have either a GED or high school diploma, but high school juniors and seniors can attend.
 
Enrollment is limited, so please contact the Adult Ed Center at 664-9427 to Pre-Register.
