Educational Hotlists: Franklin Institute
Contains a list of a few dozen topics which then offers a series of resources on those topics. A great launch pad as a study guide or just to use as exploration. Suitable for kids and adults alike. 

EPA Explorer's Club
Learn how to clean up the environment through interactive stories, exciting games, colorful art and fun fact sheets presented by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Use this site to learn more about different subjects. You can browse by different age groups as well. 

JuniorNet
Kids ages 3-12 can learn while they have fun at JuniorNet. A variety of educational games, stories and activities are provided by such popular publishers as Highlights, Ranger Rick and Weekly Reader. A fee is required to use the site. 

Scholastic's The Magic School Bus
Based on the book series featuring Ms. Frizzle and her magic bus, Scholastic's site displays kids' art in its gallery, guides you through the season's TV episodes and offers CD-ROM demos and a fun activity lab. 

 Xpeditions: National Geographic
The geography center for the National Geographic Society. Find nearly 1,800 different atlases and maps, a readers' forum, an archive of U.S. National Geography Standards and the spellbinding interactive Xpedition Hall. 

Zoom School
Zoom School is an online elementary school classroom, but don't let that scare you away. The school features interesting monthly themes and makes learning fun by including relevant games and stories.
